Presence explores the architecture of the organic, forms in the landscapes that have evolved around and through human interference. Symmetries, intersections, and the aesthetics of the marginalised space are captured here. The environments in the images are displaced from their urban contexts, abstracted into a new purely natural and aesthetic domain. This allows us to examine nature’s resistance and its retaliation, and the power and beauty in these forms that continue to exist and grow despite the constant threats of urbanisation.
Presence is a series of 16 Fujifilm Instax polaroids.
